The WorkControl-DNNSSO (DotNetNuke Single Sign On) enables users to login to DotNetNuke instance using accounts from another DotNetNuke instance. The two instances can be on the same Local Area Network (LAN) or separated over a Wide Area Network (WAN). The DNNSSO module leverages secure web service technology to enable authentication in real-time to support Single Sign-On.
Demo Scenario: Many companies set up Marketing website where potential prospect clients register to get more information. Beside the marketing website, there are specific sites such as Sales, Technical Supports, Special Products/Services. Each site has its own database.
Since the clients already registered the accounts in the Marketing site, you want them to use their existing username and password to other sites. How does the WorkControl-DNNSSO help with this scenario?
First you install the WorkControl-DNNSSO in the Marketing site and then
